Shell Energy, a global leader in the energy sector, recognized the need for a comprehensive brand refresh for their Renewable Energy Solutions (RES) B2B department. The objective was to revitalize the visual identity, enhance stakeholder engagement, and communicate their commitment to sustainability. A comprehensive design project was initiated, incorporating innovative strategies and uncommon design elements.
Challenge
The RES B2B department faced the challenge of differentiating itself within the highly competitive renewable energy market. Their existing brand identity lacked the distinctiveness needed to capture the attention of potential clients. The project aimed to align the brand with the company’s core ethos of environmental stewardship and technological innovation, all while utilizing an arsenal of unique design elements to stand out.
Execution
To elevate the brand refresh, an array of uncommon design elements were employed. Abstract patterns, inspired by renewable energy flow dynamics, were woven into the visual identity, providing a subtle yet impactful layer of storytelling. Additionally, an interactive web portal was designed, featuring parallax scrolling and gamified elements, creating an engaging platform for B2B clients to explore RES offerings.
